The earth revolves around the world like a frisbee

The Earth is Feminist

2019-08-08 16:44:21 UTC

Feminism is cancer

2019-08-08 16:44:49 UTC

The Earth is a Thicc Boi

2019-08-08 16:44:59 UTC

Not a Flat Boi

So why can't we see curvature @WeLoveTheEarth ?

2019-08-08 17:00:34 UTC

Because we are all on a sphere, and there’s a horizon. Say you’re watching a ship sail away, and you can slowly see it disappear if you look hard enough. It’s because it’s sailing on a curve, and gravity holds it down so it doesn’t go off the curve.

2019-08-08 17:01:09 UTC

It will look like the ship is going down, if you look hard enough. That is when you see the curve

2019-08-08 17:01:14 UTC

Hey man, that's great and all but why is the moon flipped upside down in australia and why are the star constellations completely different?

2019-08-08 17:01:15 UTC

Welcome to the Ice Wall!

2019-08-08 17:06:11 UTC

The constellations are caused by Revolution. When the Earth revolves around the sun, we see different constellations when we get into different seasons.

2019-08-08 17:06:45 UTC

more moon consideration https://youtu.be/1oCNGcbwxWg

2019-08-08 17:09:30 UTC

You can't cast a shadow on a ball of plasma.

2019-08-08 17:10:16 UTC

And for the inverted moon, the moon is over the equator. More proof the Earth is a sphere, In the Southern Hemisphere people see it inverted because in the North, when people in the South look up, the North perspective would look like they’re looking down

2019-08-08 17:11:01 UTC

If u stand on your head in the Southern Hemisphere and look at the moon, you would see the moon as if people see it in the North

2019-08-08 17:13:28 UTC

@RidleyChozo how can it be plasma, you see a difference in gradient and material, pretty much with the naked eye or a basic telescope

2019-08-08 17:14:54 UTC

One more piece of evidence on seeing the curve of Earth

2019-08-08 17:15:09 UTC

This is a video of a total Lunar Eclipse

2019-08-08 17:15:21 UTC

@WeLoveTheEarth yeah i know, i'm asking the guy who posted some dude who doesn't understand magnets rotating a compass around his flat map

2019-08-08 17:15:29 UTC

As the Earth shadows over the Moon, you can clearly see a curve

2019-08-08 17:15:58 UTC

Yeah, but as you can tell people agreed with your statement

2019-08-08 17:16:23 UTC

So I needed to debunk your statement to peoples

2019-08-08 17:17:36 UTC

And everything I said further proves the fact the Earth is a Sphere

2019-08-08 17:17:43 UTC

And we can see a curve in it

2019-08-08 17:19:16 UTC

debunked his statement?

2019-08-08 17:20:20 UTC

And what Human Steeple said on

2019-08-08 17:20:34 UTC

“Why can’t we see the curvature?”

2019-08-08 17:20:40 UTC

The constellations revolve around the celestial poles, not around the entire earth. there are southern hemisphere-only constellations and vice versa.

2019-08-08 17:21:34 UTC

Well I was close with that, thanks for bringing that up

2019-08-08 17:22:22 UTC

@WeLoveTheEarth oof lol i didn't see that, but yeah, good explanations

2019-08-08 17:22:47 UTC

Thank you @Akhanyatin

2019-08-08 17:27:39 UTC

@RidleyChozo good video

2019-08-08 17:30:08 UTC

He didn't go into any details about *why* he thinks it's plasma, though...

2019-08-08 17:31:49 UTC

Who?

2019-08-08 17:31:57 UTC

Oh

2019-08-08 17:32:02 UTC

Okay wtf
