@๐=Genesis 9v11-13 The seasons/timezones are caused by the Sunโs circuit round the Earth in a spiral ecliptic. In the Winter Solstice (December 21st), the Sun is vertical over the Tropic of Capricorn. In the Summer Solstice (June 21st), the Sun is vertical over the Tropic of Cancer. The first cycle, during which the days are longer than the nights and the sun reaches its culminating point of the year, extends from the spring equinox to the autumn equinox, i.e. March 21st to September 22nd; and the second cycle during which, inversely, the duration of the nights exceeds that of the days, and the sun descends to its lowest point of the year, extends from the autumn equinox to the spring equinox, i.e. September 23rd to March 20th.
@mineyful The problem is that we'd have to know the distance to the sun, which is a huge problem. Who can calculate the distance to the sun? Be honest
isn't that a correlation versus causation argument
what is orbiting
you mean circumnavigating the north pole?
earth is not moving
Lol wait in the globe model you are saying that the sun is moving?
can you explain the hotspots https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GMcMTV_prc
@mineyful It is evident that at sunrise, and at sunset, the sun's light must shine through a greater length of atmospheric air than at mid-day; besides which, the air near the earth is both more dense, and holds more watery particles in solution, than the higher strata through which the sun shines at noonday; and hence the light must be dilated or magnified, as well as modified in color. So the Sun as it sets towards the horizon, from a viewer's perspective on Earth, simultaneously gets bigger due to the reason given above, AND smaller due to the law of perspective. The net result is what you see. The amount/degree to which the Sun/Moon will be magnified due to contributing factors (wavelength, diffraction, air pressure, air temperature, width of aperature, altitude, humidity, visibility) and shrink due to perspective.
wait are you for the globe
ah alright
wait so do you think the sun is moving?
lol oh is that the frame of reference argument
can you demonstrate diagonal upwards attraction
ever tried joining the vc @mineyful
lol why did he delete his explanation
Oops
have you guys seen this https://www.gsjournal.net/Science-Journals/Research%20Papers-Astrophysics/Download/1183
how's it going guys
sup
Lol the bot!! woohooo
what's on the other side
what about pictures from space
why are other planets round
