Well, I have read it, multiple times. Was a christian for 4/5ths of my life, never experienced anything supernatural.

Well feel free to say something past "its inconsistent with like stuff". For me, my faith has shown me knowledge that is quite easy to understand *if* you believe, i can say that before i was born again, my entire mind, body, and soul were seeking answers other than God and found the same conclusion of "well Old and New Testament clash so it is inconsistent and wrong". Once I became born again, understandings between the two Covenants, doctrinal differences, and so on finally made sense and how man's answers were false. You have to truly believe to understand, without the belief, the claim that you were a Christian means nothing past you labeled yourself one and performed the doctrine.
Thats not even a scotsman, that is doctrine held within the Scripture
