It's the mainstream most accepted theory and people take it as fact cause "meh, science"

However it's not claimed to be 100% fact, just our best guess.

I think there's a God, but I also believe in most science.

Big bang isn't proven, but there's some very good evidence for it.

Right, it's one of those things we don't have the technology to measure.
