@Jonahstormrider I got something. the Irish Slaves were a myth. According the History article I sent, in the 18th century Irish were called "White Slaves" and the phrase would be used as propaganda by the Slave-Owning South about the Industrialized North, along with (false) claims that life was harder for immigrant factory workers than for slaves.
