well thats how it is in a server on the internet, youll constantly get the same questions from different people, and it doesnt matter how many times you answer

and theres also the unwillingness to research anything

it isnt our responsibility to spoonfeed everything we have learned about to somebody, especially not when theyre arguing, theres no point in that

they ask for proof, i show them proof and they refuse to examine it in favor of continuing to argue. its a pretty open and shut case, that they arent actually interested in answers

and ive seen the same happen with others

thinking outside of their own box seems to maybe make people feel threatened. i imagine its a comforting feeling to believe that you were taught the truth as you grew up instead of considering that you might have been lied to and the implications of that

sometimes you feel like humoring people and will spend time on them if they seem genuinely interested

and sometimes just tell them to go research or read something themselves

i just got through talking to someone like that, theyd ask for an anser, interrupt and argue as im trying to anser, claim i didnt answer, put words into my mouth, and ask for answers again, and repeat the process again. rinse and repeat
