thinking outside of their own box seems to maybe make people feel threatened. i imagine its a comforting feeling to believe that you were taught the truth as you grew up instead of considering that you might have been lied to and the implications of that

i just got through talking to someone like that, theyd ask for an anser, interrupt and argue as im trying to anser, claim i didnt answer, put words into my mouth, and ask for answers again, and repeat the process again. rinse and repeat

there was someone who my friends know who took screenshots in secret from between them when there was a disagreement, and went back and forth between them pretending to be like their personal spy revealing screenshots of the other saying things. and this person was just stirring up drama, and someone caught him in the same way talking about all parties involved and how stupid and niave they were and how he had played them and laughing
