I will take a wild guess...and say

The triangle at the centre creates a ring of ...something that extends into the sun and moon

A ring of them sparkles

And then that ring rotates inside of concave earth ,carrying the sun with it

As it rotates it sometimes looses some of ..whatever it is ,which then falls to earth as meteors

Which would explain the angle they seem to come at
