To keep it short, p*berty blockers are given to these children who "choose" to be transgender at a young age and it often leads to regrets or them hurting themselves in some way

To give a choice to a child to take something like that which will affect their life for as long as they live isn't a good idea

and what age are you referring to by 'at a young age' roughly speaking

Anyone under 18 shouldn't be allowed to make that choice

didnt know how far i'd get but figured it was worth a shot

the sad thing is whether we defend it or disagree with it or not, it's being rolled out regardless

tho i realize that i disagree that being trans is a choice which is kinda the basis for anything else beyond that and idk if im gonna change your mind on that today

Being trans often is a choice. Often it is not. However, making that call before the age of 18 is irresponsible.
