You say this because you also didnt know nothing about the Caucasus until recently. The conflict started before the first world war when russia decided to divide and conquer armenia, and literally move armenians closer to azerbaijan. There are no new conflicts today. Its all old. "hurr durr azerbaijan suddenly attacked" thats not how it works. I can go on all day discussing if azerbaijan's will to take back the land that once belonged to them is justified or not, but thats not my point.
