Devil can derive only one “pleasure” and that is the satisfaction derived from WINNING someone over. Once that happens he hates the one he turned for being a fool as great as himself for rejecting the joy of life eternal in exchange for some temporary reward, most of which he could’ve gotten anyways cause devil doesn’t have anything to give and the talents that people have anyways he ascribes to himself as a giver; he’s the father of lies and LIE is his native tongue
