Yeah. I'm 99.9% sure I would have the same opnion having talked to her myself without the narration. It pissed me off so bad to hear those verdicts. The girl is guilty af. She murdered her daughter

I've known plenty of people like her.... Fucking liars. When you give names of people who cannot be verified in ANY way... It's just obvious. Among many other things she said and did. She's a murderer and should have got the death penalty imo. Murderer, definitely. Death penalty, that's where the "imo" comes in. No question that she killed Caylee tho

@lockwood what is your question about them

2020-09-03 21:01:47 UTC

@T2the2ndpowr The reason I didn't use the word mutation was because I don't think this is necessarily nature or nurture. The field of psychology is not separated from biology if anything, the more we learn about psychology, the more we admit to ourselves how much biology plays a role. The reason I I shared the article about the 40-year-old men who developed pedophilia due to his tumor. Teaches us two things. One, our brain is related to our behavior and impulse control, and two, there our brain is in control of a preferences. Not just through nurture but even through nature/physiology.

When looking at psychology, which is a study of human behavior and the mind. The question of nature verse nurture is a bit outdated. Both nature and nurture play a role in it. You are right to say that pedophiles who commit sexual abuse overwhelmingly are abused as children. Even more so are abused by a family member. So when I talk about pedophilia I specifically mean attraction to prepubescent children. This does not include whether they abuse.

I just don't see how with the breath of knowledge that we have about human psychology. That even food preferences can be shown to have genetic predispositions, why would the sexual attraction not have such a thing as a genetic predisposition.

Arguing that it's more nurture the nature begs the question. Can we turn the peoples sexual desire towards children? Can we make someone a pedophile? And if yes can we do the same thing regarding homosexuality. .
Or even zoophilia

2020-09-03 23:08:07 UTC

I mean pedophiles can clearly be created from being sexually abused at a young age in the past as you said yourself. So yes they can be created through trauma. Just like murderers are created through trauma and rapists. And Homosexuality falls nowhere near the category as pedophilia and zoophilia and I think you know that. Homosexuality is very strongly understood for the most part to be genetic and there is very much evidence to prove that. There is though zero evidence to prove that pedophilia is genetic. And can I just make one point that sexual visual stimulation like we were talking about before as far as I understand it cannot or at least would not be so specific to only be attracted to children. It could be a feature that some men are attracted to a person with a much smaller frame or build, maybe attracted to a build of something like a child. But this doesn’t mean they would only be attracted to children they would just be attracted to a person with a small build. Pedophiles are specifically attracted to small children prepubescent children.

2020-09-03 23:08:18 UTC

It just can’t be that specific

Viviana was born in Vaslui, Romania. Viviana, Professor of Neuroscience and Biological Engineering at The California Institute of Technology, has developed advanced tools in optogenetics—an approach that uses light to control brain cells—to unearth deep insights into the brain. She has engineered vehicles for gene therapy that—in rodents—cross the blood-brain barrier and deliver target genes to the brain. Viviana also developed a tissue-clearing technique called PARS-CLARITY to render the entire body of a rodent transparent for fine-scale visualization and mapping of circuits as well as gene expression analysis.
