I’d just ask you to look into for one Natural selection and learn how that works. I could explain it to you in a voice chat but I’d much rather you learn it from someone else more qualified. And then look into speciation, because that is when animals branch out into other animals

Well when you look at fossils and what not the rate of decay is one of the factors used to determine it's age. But we assume the rate of decay has remained the same throughout time. That's an assumption

They can weather

Perhaps but it just never sat well with me. Perhaps some religious indoctrination seeped through into my subconscious while growing up.

But it shouldn’t matter if it sits well with you. If the evidence is all there you should believe it. At least that’s the way I look at it and I think it’s a pretty safe way to look at it.

But just so you know I am not a scientist I am not an expert. But I took AP Biology and honors Zoology in high school so I’ve learned the basis of evolution and natural selection. But that’s all anyone needs to understand and luckily it’s very easy to understand
