@ThePangburn - Do you acknowledge that “extremism” in itself is not the problem, but rather entirely depends on what one is being “extreme” about. For example, we certainly ought to be “extremely” rational, “extremely” moral, “extremely” correct, “extremely” good to one another, etc. There are tons of things in which an “extreme” position is a good thing. Something being “extreme” is not necessarily a bad thing. To be “extreme” in many cases simply means that one has a strongly held belief or conviction, and sometimes those strongly held beliefs are true, such as my “extreme” (strongly held) belief that religion is bullshit. Do you agree that “extremism” can be a very good thing if we are “extreme” about the correct, good, and truthful ideas?
