@JCEN In the video Dawkins describes a fact that I have already accepted as true. All life shares some common genes. And though I'm not arguing for creationism, I don't feel that fact refutes it. This could also be describing a genetic foundation for life. Take a block of wood. Somebody could turn that into a toy soldier, a cowboy, some farm animals etc. They would all have a common characteristic. The wood. They didn't evolve into their respective state but were created that way. For the record, my belief lean more towards a sort of guided evolution rather than the traditional creationist or evolutionalist view.
