you cant dissprove a indifferent creator
cya
passerby read what i said in the religion chat
thats what speciation is
Man I wasn't even trying to argue for a creator.
not even decided myself. I acually am leaning against an actually creative entity
BTW isn't there a townhall on YT
Using well being as a moral foundation, is there a moral difference between a murder and an accidental killing?
Yes
Intention matters
This may be the dumbest post I've ever seen...
I wouldn't doubt that it happend....
Child molesters are often killed in prison, no?
...With a Cane? HAHA, yeah.. I see your point.
I'm not sure a lot of prison inmates are equipped with a cane.
Any "home-made device" designated as a cane must be a fault on the prison itself. As no inmate should have such utility to actually equip themselves as such.
This woman says..... free him! Haha
Yes, free him so he will be allowed to kill more people with canes. Makes perfect sense!
100%
There is so much more I'd like to dissect within that exposition. Perhaps we can get an audio/video session on Creationism vs. Evolution.
There seems to be a disconnect between the two, as well understood.
> Yeah adaptative genes would make sense even if a creater was involved. Show me a tree with legs or bird with flower petals
@Deleted User @ThePangburn More specifically, in response to "show me a tree with legs".
Dear PangBurn Peeps... I have been Wondering Around for A few Months or So and Enjoyed it Very Much... But To be Honest It is a Bit Political Heavy for my Taste, To Much Going Around for me Solved Moral Issues. Personally I am Looking more for Science Horizons and Other Mind Bending Stuff. I have tried to Inject some Thoughts and Material but see no feedback on that. I Will Fly Away for A While and Might be Back, but for now I am Gone. Cheers ! Greetings from the Netherlands... Have a Good One !
@JCEN In the video Dawkins describes a fact that I have already accepted as true. All life shares some common genes. And though I'm not arguing for creationism, I don't feel that fact refutes it. This could also be describing a genetic foundation for life. Take a block of wood. Somebody could turn that into a toy soldier, a cowboy, some farm animals etc. They would all have a common characteristic. The wood. They didn't evolve into their respective state but were created that way. For the record, my belief lean more towards a sort of guided evolution rather than the traditional creationist or evolutionalist view.
I know that Alvin Plantinga gives and argument for what you are describing. @Deleted User
@Ozzie Rivera I will definately look into this him. Thanks
If fact does not prove anything to you, I'm quite sure nothing else will. Evolutionary processes work more intricately than a person carving a block of wood. Again, go back to my clockmaker analogy.
Best of luck to you @passerby
@JCEN if a person doesn't value facts or evidence, there are no facts or evidence we can present to them to prove they should value them. If that's where @Deleted User is then you're correct, the conversation is over. You're a good sport.
So I just picked up “beyond good and evil” by Fredrick nietzsche. Has anyone read it before? I know @sean.sullivan1983 mentioned him in the discussion we had
@everyone please share this on facebook. Needs to be said. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10163997364635371&id=709935370
