First of all pedophilia definitely isn’t some genetic problem. I shouldn’t say that with certainty but I certainly don’t think it’s genetic

That’s why there’s no pin pointed gay gene

But there’s other reasons to understand that that’s genetic

I meant in the sense that you can't choose it. How do you know that a lot of gay people didn't have a traumatic experience that led them to be gay? What you're saying seems very hand-wavy and not very scientific. What percent of pedophiles were the result of childhood trauma? For the other ones, could it not be exactly the same kind of thigns that would make someone gay?

Can I give some personal observations that lead me to believe just that?
