@retiredDep don't shut up. I understand your point and it is a valid one. The question is one of "what should we do". Temporarily cutting off to new membership may help but also cuts against the grain. Leaving it open, does have the risk of labels and being shut down. It is the proverbial question of security vs. freedom. The one thing I will say, for those that espouse leaving it open, don't complain if it is taken down. Remember Reddit as infiltration was the very tactic used.
For those that consider temporary halt to new membership, it does hamper waking others.

@V77 I also see, that if not for the mods on YT, the same is going on there. The chans hate people in their "turf/platform". For those that hate people "not like them" that is different story and themselves don't see the "they want you divided" message.
