I'm not a socialist by any means but the situation is tough. I just think combating globalism and the Chinese should be our number one priority economically.
Tim curry what the heck does that mean we "fund our enemies" do u have examples of this. Also what do u mean "combating globalism" is that economic globalization which all economists have agreed is overwhelmingly beneficial for the US or is it some j3w conspiracy

They don't really, America just imports a lot from them because it is beneficial for both sides. What problem do u have with America importing from China which hugely helps its economy?
it is not beneficial for both sides. Having more than half of our companies overseas does not benefit America except muh flatscreen is a little bit cheaper
free trade is great philosophically as an element and component to western civilization and the overall idea the founders held. However when it is unchecked in terms of being a more globalizing force it hurts the United States and any other nation that conducts unchecked free trade
