No. Terms for all politicians. We have 2 terms for a president for a reason. We need to use the same for the rest of the politicians. So I guess you think the president should be in power for life also.

There are some good politicians but they are being outnumbered.
And it is not only voter fraud. It is the ignorance and laziness of the voters.... some vote based on the familiarity of a name.

We need politicians that complement each other, a balance, the ying and yang (to borrow the term). We cannot have it one way or the other. Voters matter, and if they don't, they should make it so... starting at the very basic levels (local).

We came to America to escape elite rule.
There is no argument there. But we should honor the system that was set up. I throw it back on the shoulder's of the people who vote them in and vote to keep them in. Focus attention on 'getting money out of politics" and "voter/system fraud."

Washington didn't set presidential terms. The CC were involved with setting up the whole system, terms included. Of course, they had no idea how weird things could get, but they did a pretty d*** good job. If we mess with it, thinking we can make it better, we'd better be ready for a bigger 'weirdness.' Work with what we have. Make it better, by cleaning it up.
