@Arkansasmaga 4 or 5 terms isn't a lifetime. Expecting quick turnover to solve our problems is dreaming. Quick turnover can be the means of youngsters, straight out of liberal colleges, to take over Congress... only to set their stage for a presidency. We need old school to keep us anchored.

No. Terms for all politicians. We have 2 terms for a president for a reason. We need to use the same for the rest of the politicians. So I guess you think the president should be in power for life also.

There are some good politicians but they are being outnumbered.

We need politicians that complement each other, a balance, the ying and yang (to borrow the term). We cannot have it one way or the other. Voters matter, and if they don't, they should make it so... starting at the very basic levels (local).

We came to America to escape elite rule.
There is no argument there. But we should honor the system that was set up. I throw it back on the shoulder's of the people who vote them in and vote to keep them in. Focus attention on 'getting money out of politics" and "voter/system fraud."
