This is concept art from Blue Origin shows what a potential space colony could look like.
The design is based on an O'Neill cylinder, a concept first proposed in the 70s by physicist Gerard K. O'Neill. The colonies would consist of two cylinders, rotating in counter directions to provide gravity (through centrifugal force) and cancel out any gyroscopic effects that would make it difficult to keep the colony aimed towards the Sun.
Jeff Bezos released these new images earlier this month, reaffirming his ambition to one day build colonies in space that he hopes would house up to 1 trillion people.
