@foilhat , I supported soldiers during the Vietnam war. Lost many friends and relatives in that era. I was young and didn’t understand why we were there...now I do. Sad times that gave rise to the likes of the Clintons.

@foilhat , it is worse now. We went through the civil rights riots earlier, and moved into the protest era. There was never such violence as there is now. Kent State was the worst. My friend used to make anti war signs and protest on the weekends. That was my first introduction to a Liberal family. Lol. There did not seem to be the financial backing for protests like there is now. The hatred level was directed to LBJ. There was a lot going on in the 60’s and 70’s. Too much. I always thought JFK was killed because he wanted to bring people home from Vietnam. At the time, I think we had only the people Eisenhower sent, plus a few troops. My mind is not as sharp now as it used to be, but Johnson escalated the war, and started the draft. Hope I get to find out the real events surrounding JFK’s death before I die.

@foilhat, the hippies were nasty, but some good music came out of that era. I am the generation of parents who have kids and grandkids now that protested then. The hatred of America was truly born in the 60’s, and it has festered for years. Communism was filtering slowly into our country . Good grief, it is awful now.

@foilhat , Bill Ayers was a loud mouth jerk. He should still be in jail. Obama’s mom was of the same political opinions as he was...so were her parents. I don’t trust Obama’s background. That is another mystery I want to find out about before I die. There is a YT video by Myron Fagan that sums up what happened up to1967. It proves what Q says..future proves past.

@foilhat, Frankfurt School is an eye opener. I had all but forgotten about that. Just wish the USA could expel people that hate America. It will never happen. Personally, I am still researching what “fundamentally changing America” means. Sounds like a subversive plan to me.
