@Celwind, thanks. My friend’s daughter went to California to be with her boyfriend. They work at a petroleum company as geo petroleum engineers. She lasted 3 weeks. Grocery shopping with no bags killed her...and sorting garbage. But when they refused to trim her cat’s hair, that did her in. She went back to Houston.

@Peaches Mcbee , no, they had no air conditioners in her complex. The cat was a big fluffy rag doll...like a Himalayan. Animals have more rights than people, I guess. Her cat was miserable with so much hair.
