@Deleted User ,I remember how modern Iran was in the 50-60’s. I had a friend in Trig in college we called Fred. He was from Iran. He showed us beautiful pictures of his homeland. His name was Ismail Sade...not sure of spelling. He told us he didn’t want to go home because he would have to have 4 wives. Not true. His brother was in exile in France with the old ayatollah . When the shah was overthrown, I happened to be watching TV and there sat Fred and his brother with the ayatollah, the brother being high in the govt. I was shocked. Wish I hadn’t been such a devil may care person in college, or I might have asked the hard questions. Past proves future for sure. Oh to go back to some intense conversations in the student union.
