@Orion91 The super puzzling thing is the Mormons are not happy about gay anything. I can link articles sometime. But at the same time, SLC has the largest gay pride parade and they elect a gay Mayor. It's like the thing everyone here wants to talk about/fight over. Crazy!

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Former state Rep. Oliver Robinson testified in federal court that he was paid by business interests to oppose federal environmental cleanup efforts in north Birmingham
News outlets report that Robinson took the witness stand Tuesday in the bribery trial.
Lawyers Joel Gilbert and Steven McKinney and Drummond Co. vice president David Robertson are accused of bribing Robinson. The three have maintained their innocence.
Robinson testified that they wanted him to use his influence as a legislator to oppose an expansion of a federal Superfund site in Birmingham.
Robinson pleaded guilty to bribery last year. The former basketball star said he felt like he sold out the voters who elected him.
Defense attorney Jack Sharman, in questioning Robinson, noted that Robinson hopes to get a reduced sentence by cooperating with prosecutors.

CLINTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Celebration of Life ceremony has been announced for a two-year-old was found brutally slain at a residence in Clinton.
Deputies said they responded to residence on Country Lane on July 30 and found the child deceased inside the home.
According to deputies, the child appeared to have been brutally beaten and had apparent injuries all over their body. The sheriff's office said the child was sexually molested before death.
The coroner identified the child as Brantley Smith.
After an autopsy, the coroner confirmed Brantley suffered multiple blunt force trauma.
According to Brantley's obituary, a Celebration of Brantley's life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Rabun Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gray Court City Cemetery.
