2019-08-15 19:03:36 UTC

Notso is the resident expert

2019-08-15 19:03:47 UTC

seaweed and algae, @lena-Ingram

2019-08-15 19:03:47 UTC

Well I call it intermittent fasting.. but some call it Daniel diet.

2019-08-15 19:04:15 UTC

Just kidding @Notsoperfect

2019-08-15 19:04:15 UTC

It's where you fast for at least 16 hours up to 23 each day..and pick a "eating window"

2019-08-15 19:04:36 UTC

Dustin Nemos does intermittent fasting, somewhat differently, I believe.

2019-08-15 19:04:42 UTC

Ok that doesn't sound good

2019-08-15 19:04:46 UTC

So many ways to fast

2019-08-15 19:04:50 UTC

Lol

2019-08-15 19:05:24 UTC

Ohhh it is very good lol @lena-Ingram It's very healing.. and makes your body feel incredible. But don't take my word for it.. if you are interested.. lots of great books.. and info out there.

2019-08-15 19:05:44 UTC

It sounds great, for life style changing and good health.

2019-08-15 19:06:03 UTC

I will have to check it out

2019-08-15 19:06:14 UTC

I remember when I first heard of 'IF' a couple of years ago.. I thought it was CRAZY LOL and here I am now..IFing for 2 years lol

2019-08-15 19:06:44 UTC

Fasting is natural cleansing for the body, spiritually renewing and grounding, mentally. takes discipline, in the beginning.

2019-08-15 19:07:03 UTC

Can become routine. Doesnt have to be.

2019-08-15 19:07:53 UTC

Most people when they start out.. just fast 16 hours.. so basically you fast while sleep and don't eat until noon. And it works for a lot of people that way. You can make your "eating window" shorter ect.. Also, the best time to exercise.... while you fast.. is around the 18-23 hour mark.

2019-08-15 19:08:23 UTC

I did not know that.

2019-08-15 19:08:41 UTC

I never personally enjoyed the 8 hour.. eating window. I just like it short..and sweet. Eat what and then slam that eating window shut and I don't have to worry about it until the next day lol

2019-08-15 19:10:07 UTC

That's basically how I've lived my life, I never was a breakfast person. Felt just fine not eating before supper.

2019-08-15 19:10:08 UTC

Wow @Notsoperfect . That makes it actually kinda doable for an old chow hound like me!

2019-08-15 19:10:26 UTC

Long term fasting takes away base human activities and clears the head, heals and does a myriad of other really cool things.

2019-08-15 19:11:06 UTC

LOL @kreskin1 We have been programmed for so long to eat a thousand times a day. It is so doable.. and you will be surprised.. at once you get used to it.. you aren't hungry during your fasting hours.

2019-08-15 19:11:17 UTC

@Scandinavi Unheritage then you are a natural lol

2019-08-15 19:11:23 UTC

Maybe I’ll start after I finish this ham sammich.

2019-08-15 19:11:27 UTC

LOL

2019-08-15 19:11:29 UTC

well

2019-08-15 19:11:33 UTC

I have done this before but I called it not being hungry..lol

2019-08-15 19:12:37 UTC

The nice thing about this way of eating.. is you are basically just delaying.. and not denying yourself.. So lets say.. someone bought donuts at work.. or cake or something.. and your window isn't opened. Just take one.. lol stuff it in your purse..save it tunil your window.. you can still eat whatever you like. But your body with time.. you will find it craving healthier things.. it's really amazing.

2019-08-15 19:12:55 UTC

Would that be called Hargry. Been There

2019-08-15 19:13:01 UTC
