Hello, my wife and I need prayer and help if you can put the call out. Even thiuugh we live on the other side of Florida near Tampa, we are in the direct path of Hurricane Doriaan and we are in a bind. We have no. vehicle to evacuate our home and right now we are both scared, very fearful that we may have to ride out the storm in our mobile home. Our disabilities and reliance on wheelchairs make it somewhat difficult to evacuate We need God’s intevention now and we need it in a mighty way.

@Will Gab.ai/DrCheckmate (USA) God is looking after you and many more Floridians. The path of Dorian has shifted considerably to the EAST and poses much less chance of affecting the Tampa Bay area. I am in Jacksonville and it looks like we might get a lot of Dorian's fury unless the track continues to shift more and more eastward. We aren't out of the woods quite yet but we all need to PRAY this storm out to sea.

Gideon is a good example for us today. It doesn't matter how many Midianites or Amalekites are arrayed against us. God is able to use just a few to defeat a great multitude.

Let's talk about the Sabbath. Is it a day of the week? In the book of Hebrews (presumably written by Paul) this subject is dealt with pretty comprehensively in chapters three and four. He is speaking of Gods rest (or Sabbath). In chapter four verses 9-12 the scripture gives us a look at the true Saba

bath. "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works,as God did from His.

Let us labor, therefore,to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
