Thanks bud
AMEN
Today is our day. No one at any time has ever had any spiritual graces that we at this time cannot enjoy if we will meet the terms on which they are given. If these times are morally darker, they but provide a background against which we can shine the brighter. Our God is the God of today as well as of yesterday, and we may be sure that wherever our tomorrows may carry us, our faithful God will be with us as He was with Abraham and David and Paul. Those great men did not need us then, and we cannot have them with us now. Amen. So be it. And God be praised. We cannot have them, but we can have that which is infinitely better--we can have their God and Father, and we can have their Savior, and we can have the same blessed Holy Spirit that made them great.
A. W. Tozer Sermon: Let Us Draw Near Today
Why we need God https://youtu.be/Uj9vkWaRM_A
```Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary ```
Y’-varech’-cha Adonai v’yish-marechah. Yaer Adonai panav aelechah veechu-nechah. Yisah Adonai panav aelechah v’ya-saem l’chah shalom. B’Shaem Y’shua haMoshiach, Sar haShalom. Amaen.
Sh’ma Yisrael Adonai Elochenu, Adonai echad. Baruch shaem k’vod mal-choo-to l’olam va’ed.
V’ahavta et Adonai Elohecha b’chol l’vavcha, uv’chol nafsh’cha uv’chol m’odecha.
Let these things that I have commanded you this day be upon your heart. Teach them thoroughly to your children and speak of them while you sit in your home, while you walk on the way, when you lie down, when you rise up. Bind them as a sign upon your arm and let them be a sign between your eyes. Write them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates.
Praised be Thou, O L-rd our G-d, G-d of our fathers, G-d of Abraham, G-d of Isaac, G-d of Jacob. Thou art great and mighty, revered and exalted, bestowing lovingkindness and holding dominion over all things. Thou rememberest the noble deeds of our ancestors, and because Thou art a G-d of Love, Thou hast brought forth thine own right arm as a redeemer to our children and their children after them.
Until all generations will we proclaim Thy greatness, and unto all eternity will we proclaim Thy holiness. Unto all nations, beginning in Judea and unto the uttermost parts of the earth will we proclaim Thy provision in Y’shua haMoshiach. Great and mighty is the L-rd our G-d, who in love gave us Messiah to atone for our sins.
Your Word, O L-rd is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our way. Teach us by Thy precious Ruach haKodesh, through Thy revealed Word, that we might please Thee in all things, our G-d!
Baruch atah Adonai Elochenu, Melech ha-olam, asher natan lanue Torah emet, v’chaiyaeh olam natah b’tochaenu.
Behold, G-d is my salvation, I trust and am not afraid; For Adonai Elochenu is my strength and my song, and He is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall you draw living water from the well of salvation. Thine, O L-rd, is Salvation; Thy blessing be upon Thy people. Selah.
L-rd of hosts, be with us. G-d of Jacob, be our high refuge. Selah..
L-rd of hosts, happy be the man who trusts in Thee. L-rd, save us. May the King answer us on the day when we call. Israel has thy light and gladness, and joy and honor, so let it be with us. I will lift up the cup of salvation and proclaim the name of my G-d.
Blessed art Thou, Lord God, King of the universe, for the fruit of the vine, and for the produce of the field, and for that desirable, good, and spacious land, which Thou has granted to our ancestors, to inherit, and to eat of its fruit and be satisfied with it’s goodness.
Be gracious unto us, O Lord God, and restore your eternal kingdom on this earth, and Thy Holy City, Zion, speedily in our days. Even so come Lord, Y’shua. Come and take your rightful place as our King, as our Lord, as our God. For all these things we thank you, in the name of your Son, Y’shua haMeshiach. Amen.
@retiredDep Only kohanim are allowed to say birkat kohanim
And if you say birchat haTorah without reciting Torah or the complete me'ein shalosh without eating the 5 grains, drinking wine, and eating the 7 species, you're uttering a bracha leVatalah
The rabbis are allowed
@retiredDep Rabbis are not kohanim, they're not allowed to say birkat kohanim. Please source this statement.
Consider that one's evil inclination can lead one to manners of service that are brazen, all the while he's convinced these impulses are from the side of holiness.
Thinking that everyone should be able to say birkat kohanim was the very contention of the rebels in the disputation of Korach.
btw A+++ for knowing what I'm even talking about
