so as im showing to change your avatar click the settings gear, then click 'my account'

then click on the current avatar picture (frog)

and then it will ask you to pick where you have your image file stored,

pick your selection from there if you dont already have an avatar picked out then do some googling for one youd like and download that one to your phone first.
