“ Trump ramps up scrutiny of legal immigrants” by Lydia Wheeler on The Hill
The Hill deceptively attempts to conflate those that attained their citizenship legally, with those that got it through fraud and identity theft.

“Candace Owens: Prominent Trump supporters chased out of restaurant by protesters “ by Cleve R Wootson jr on Independent
Independent attempts to downplay thugs, probably Antifa, physically assaulting Trump supporters by calling them “protesters”. They screamed in their faces and poured a drink on one of them.

@Deleted User from what i can tell regarding that hill article the uscis is trying to crack down on legal immigrants that illegally obtained citizenship, if they got lpr they are legal immigrants so the headline isn't inaccurate
the new uscis program seems ok even if it's not in uscis' jurisdiction tho, just maybe a waste of resources
I mostly agree with you on this @21tagtmeiern . The headline is TECHNICALLY true. But it’s still deceptive. Its meant to paint a picture of Trump attacking legitimate immigration. It’s like writing an article about a police force cracking down on shoplifting, and titling it “ Police ramp up scrutiny on customers that leave the store with product that they paid for “
http://archive.today/11ydo” Sorry liberals, a violent response to Trump is as logical as any” by Jesse Benn on HuffPost
Article justifies Antifa violence as a “ perfectly logical reaction “ and declares anyone against this violence as “ privileged “ and says “ Don’t be that liberal “. This is an endorsement of terrorism.

“ Woman gave boy, 14, drug so she could seduce him” by Mark Branagan on Metro
This child wasn’t seduced. He was drugged and raped. Flip the gender, and this article headline would be completely different.

“ Microsoft demands that Gab delete post calling for ‘eradication of all jews’ Microsoft has given the Alt-Right twitter alternative 48 hours to delete two offending posts before it shuts down the company’s cloud server account “
By Matthew Gault on MotherBoard
Article falsely calls Gab an alt-right twitter, it’s a free speech platform founded by two none Alt right guys, one of which isn’t even white. The article also says that Alex Jones is Alt-right, which is laughable.

“ When New York City was the capital of American communism “ by Maurice Isserman on The New York Times Red Century 5/40
Whimsical look back on the highest point of power for communism in America, and its center of power, NYC. It also highlights a communist tactic of using immigrants and Anti-fascist alliances for recruitment. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

Tim Pool now shares my theory of a mass censorship purge for the 2020 election.

I feel like Alex Jones ban was justified to an extent, and I don't suspect they are going to start banning en mass but it does set a slippery slope.
These are private corporations after all
these are monopolies who can unperson you
electric companies can't refuse to give you electricity because you said something dumb
I’m definitely a pessimist on this issue. Remember this started with people like Jarred Taylor and Websites like The Daily Stormer. Now it’s hit Alex Jones.
From where I’m sitting it looks like we’ve already lost our footing on the slope, and are currently in full slide. The question is where does it stop.
I’m sympathetic to your perspective @Alexander Ramsey but I’m skeptical that the government is really going to help us. We have to find our own solutions. Not that I’m saying this is easy. We may just have to obfuscate who we are online and be prepared to live a nomadic lifestyle. Jumping from one website to another.
@Doctor Anon I’m curious, it what sense do you think the blanket ban of Alex Jones across multiple platforms and services was justified?
No website is currently good enough for mass ship jumping from YouTube or other similar platforms.
@Deleted User He *did* violate their ToS, specifically I'm looking on YouTube. And if you look into the info wars ToS, it's many times worse than YouTube's ToS. The hysteria is overblown when Infowars themselves are guilty of censorship on their platform of left wing views
Infowars ToS
*"it is not censorship if you violate the rules..." -infowars
It’s hard not to violate YoUTube TOS, but that is YouTube’s prerogative.
I don’t see how that Infowars TOS is worse than YouTubes. What is in the Infowars TOS that was violated by Infowars in the YoUTube TOS?
YouTube has bulling and hate speech in its TOS.
Not necessarily worse, but when I told people this ToS and said it's YouTube they were outraged, but when it's Infowars they don't really care. The fact they contain a clause for hate speech
Yeah I see it now
Infowars should be held to the same standards and they censor what they deem as hateful comments and accounts etc on their site, its ironic when they complain they are being censored on vauge hate speech charges when they are guilty of it themselves
YouTube is free to censor whoever they want, so is Infowars in their comments section. But if Infowars and Youtube behave the same, it’s clear then that they are both publishers, not platforms, and they have a political agenda.
I don't support censorship, but it's just hypocritical, the reactions.
I agree. I love open comments sections. Just nothing illegal.
I'd support a nationalized platform where rights are enforced but I don't think it's likely
YouTube has received subsidies so you can argue it could be nationalized legally
Right, like an internet bill of rights. I agree. It would be good. I also agree it’s not likely
I’ve seen people say that. Facebook and twitter have too I think.
