A very important exercise that you need to focus on to have some good abs is plank

2018-10-18 12:11:39 UTC

Also to train abs themselves you eed to engage in static excercises rather than dynamic, since the abs are a muscle that is low fatigue

2018-10-18 12:11:52 UTC

plank or hollow body, i like hollo body holds more.

2018-10-18 12:11:58 UTC

Plank will help you form your abs much faster

2018-10-18 12:12:04 UTC

Hollow too

2018-10-18 12:12:15 UTC

its IMo a more advanced plank, you can do V sits as well so tension + increase tension back to tension

2018-10-18 12:12:32 UTC

All these ain't easy for a guy that just started exercising

2018-10-18 12:12:41 UTC

But you can try

2018-10-18 12:12:50 UTC

This reaction bot is pissing me off

2018-10-18 12:13:22 UTC

I mean hmmm, swimming is also excellent for an initial fat burning and gets you stronger overall but that depends on if you can swim

2018-10-18 12:13:28 UTC

at a semi competent level

2018-10-18 12:13:40 UTC

Yeah, but he said he ain't got enough time for sports

2018-10-18 12:13:45 UTC

otherwise youll spend 50% of the time trying not to pass out from exhaustion and hypoxia in the middle of the lane

2018-10-18 12:13:55 UTC

Like, these 20 mins daily, are very effective

2018-10-18 12:14:02 UTC

And you will probably get a good result

2018-10-18 12:14:11 UTC

Thank you @Koninos

2018-10-18 12:14:15 UTC

Your welcome

2018-10-18 12:15:48 UTC

Id say not even 20, a solid 15 is excellent

2018-10-18 12:15:57 UTC

or well 20, you are right

2018-10-18 12:16:14 UTC

5 min warm up, and 1 min breaks between sets will eventually make it 20

2018-10-18 12:16:20 UTC

Good luck @Yeetus

2018-10-18 12:16:25 UTC

i just got spooked

2018-10-18 12:16:27 UTC

Good luck, yeah

2018-10-18 12:17:16 UTC

Well I'm pretty skinny but I'm hoping it'll tone my body a little

2018-10-18 12:19:43 UTC

:L

2018-10-18 12:20:06 UTC

gotta start that grind of going to the gym and drinking protein after

2018-10-18 12:21:27 UTC

Gym wasn't effective for me.

2018-10-18 12:30:20 UTC

then you didn't try hard enough

2018-10-18 12:30:41 UTC

try doing harder workouts

2018-10-18 12:57:01 UTC

the gym is really something that you can only do if 1) you have money 2) weights increase strength but reduce functional capacity, basically you stiffen up unless you do a lot of supplumentary work 3) It builds muscle, burns fat, however the results can be assymetrical

2018-10-18 12:57:36 UTC

basically id never recommend weights as the go to for people just starting, id rather see them start with some form of calisthenics or gymnastics and then move to weights

2018-10-18 12:57:50 UTC

its a more stable progression and less prone to any and all fuck ups.

2018-10-18 12:58:01 UTC

:l

2018-10-18 12:58:12 UTC

i had people teach me

2018-10-18 12:58:17 UTC

how to do some of the things

2018-10-18 12:58:24 UTC

like benching, dead lifts

2018-10-18 12:58:51 UTC

thats why you use low weight to start your form

2018-10-18 12:59:06 UTC

but when working with arms you dont need weight

2018-10-18 12:59:12 UTC

it works when it burns

2018-10-18 14:23:11 UTC

haha I mean the issue is assymetry
