a stark contrast to the citizenship test for the USA, which is quite literally 10 questions

2018-08-03 16:47:47 UTC

What Hanaso said

2018-08-03 16:47:49 UTC

6 of which you need to get correct

2018-08-03 16:48:07 UTC

Allow immigrants in but at the same time enforce the death penalty.

2018-08-03 16:48:44 UTC

lmfao

2018-08-03 16:49:33 UTC

modern Japanese immigration systems

2018-08-03 16:49:42 UTC

pretty much perfect

My dream "country" would probably be a voluntary confederation of covenant communities. Depending on the confederal law/agreements, each covenant would probably choose it's own way of accepting or denying people membership/citizenship.

2018-08-03 17:11:28 UTC

@CryptoBlok I think that's similar to syndicalism

2018-08-03 17:16:09 UTC

Syndicalism is more of a socialistic economic system. https://infogalactic.com/info/Syndicalism

2018-08-03 17:17:54 UTC

I'm thinking more like a confederacy of Hoppean-style covenant communities, though I guess they would each have the right to determine their own economic policies as well.

2018-08-03 17:22:33 UTC

basically I'll recover the National Origins Act

2018-08-03 18:27:05 UTC

no immigration

2018-08-03 22:34:12 UTC

Closed borders with few exceptions. People can visit, maybe even go to school, but have to leave when they’re done.

2018-08-04 01:17:36 UTC

citizenship is not immigration just to clarify

2018-08-04 01:17:40 UTC

that's separate

2018-08-04 01:17:50 UTC

i think the one we have is pretty good

2018-08-04 01:18:27 UTC

but there needs to be more room for high-skilled immigrants and refugees at the very least

2018-08-04 01:18:36 UTC

from my preliminary research into the topic

2018-08-04 12:28:39 UTC

@Deleted User I think foreigners should be allowed to go to school, but that's about as far as it goes

2018-08-04 15:27:20 UTC

Tie between Jackson and Theodore Roosevelt for me. Jackson for his fight against the central bank, standing up to the judiciary, and his pursuit of finding more settlable land for Americans. Roosevelt for his imperialism, conservationism, and regulations of corporations.

2018-08-04 16:11:47 UTC

wut

2018-08-04 16:11:50 UTC

jackson was the worst

2018-08-04 17:00:23 UTC

Jackson because he dabbed on the Indians and Waged War Against the Banks
