I don’t believe so I rather think that it is better to stand by your morals with the utmost conviction.

This then shows others who share your morals or views that they are not alone.

This invigorates others which would be more so complacent than they should be.

What if the enemy knows this and prepares accordingly or plays you like a fool by only making it seem the mile is assured when really they hold it in a grip stronger than any iron vice could?
