Very sexist. 99.99% Gulag hours

2018-11-11 00:16:17 UTC

It's mainly about getting out of a recession. I think that a balance of stimulus and austerity would work the best. Lots of governments either go full cut or full stimulus during recessions it seems.

2018-11-11 00:16:38 UTC

notice how neither stimulus or austerity are left wing @Shalopy

2018-11-11 00:24:52 UTC

It's not left wing, and I disagree with the government only putting money into the economy. I'd like the government to not be too much more in debt with a huge stimulus package-which is why I like a balance because at least some of the money is coming from another area of the government that would have been spent on something else.

2018-11-11 00:26:38 UTC

It is, and this is how it is described by people now. You may say you don't agree but plenty of leftists support Keynesian Economics

2018-11-11 00:27:00 UTC

Not All, but almost nothing is a monolith

2018-11-11 00:28:14 UTC

The only way you could argue otherwise if you claim that those leftists are not real leftists

2018-11-11 00:28:50 UTC

Or I could challenge your claim of who describes it as leftist or who supports it that is leftist

2018-11-11 00:29:21 UTC

@PebbЛe We are already over it, and you agree with me. You too @The Big Oof

2018-11-11 00:29:26 UTC

@SilverLining Is keynesian left wing? Can you weigh in here

2018-11-11 00:29:38 UTC

And here we go again the gridlock

2018-11-11 00:29:57 UTC

It is the standard and standards are forever. Insert diamond commercial

2018-11-11 00:30:10 UTC

@Draco Are we talking about Leftism in the American or European sense?

2018-11-11 00:30:30 UTC

In both senses. Is Labour Party on Left?

2018-11-11 00:34:59 UTC

I would say Yes, and I would say that the Democrat party overall is very slightly center left.

2018-11-11 00:36:00 UTC

And do they use capitalism and/or Keynesian concepts to a great extent?

2018-11-11 00:36:03 UTC

it used to be center right, but now it's basically center left
