@Reb Trump I dont think the movies will be more conservative but rather the underlying themes will drastically change, i meant to say remove jews and liberal leaders, which would remove the entire influencing sphere and the top down narratives given to hollywood to work with. Additionally removing the advertising industry would be necessary since that too, or rather that single handedly is the most influential medium today.
I said that a new hollywood would be born and that it would be anywhere from right leaning to center gray area in its narratives since those tend to resonate the most with people. For example Guardians of the Galaxy is succesful much in part because the themes presented tend to in fact be relatively right wing. Of course there are SJW values pushed into it, however it tends to get at things that are deeper and more fundumental and present a very different structure than what SJW's want, or the left wants. It proposes, and it must, because of the ideas it is touching present rather traditioanlist values. Such as fatherhood, coming of age for men, the complimentary natures of men and women. Saving the damsel. etc.

@Bogatyr Bogumir restricting advertisement would kill the existing entertainment industry for sure, but how would a new one come to be? What would motivate investment into production budgets?
@IV LI V S Id think we have so many amatuer producers, and directors, since the industry has fallen it would open a massiv competetive field. People who were actors would be looking for work or even up and coming actors might see a chance and low budget yet greatly inspired films might come to be, crowd funding and all might come to be the method of choice for gettign thigns done. THe most succesful of these would eventually form their own hollywood of sorts.
Ive seen some excellent very low budget films made in the past, some with people working for free, and the movies have been absolutely stunning. With the tech we have today, for editing and special effects getting people together to make something isnt that difficult. I made a decent movie with 4 people, its only 7 min and lacks something i really wanted in it, but considering the little time and how chaotic it all was, the end product and how good that product was, it really is suprising what you can do.
I guess I have less faith than you in crowdfunding as a basis for industry
One film made for free is the warhammer 40k animation, made by one guy, its i think 10 min long and litearlly almost, almost movie studio quality. Another movie was warhammer 40k live action and it was ltiearlly also almost studio quality. (It was low budget tho)
the 40k anim:

The other movie:

give any of these guys 40k crowdfunded and youd get somethign amazing. (alternatively you get investors)
I guess that works for franchise work, but original concepts are much less viable to crowdfund
the existing franchise mania would be made worse if anything
I'd also worry about the fact that big budget movies studios are the main source of funding for good modern orchestral music
true, well there is good modern orchestral music but you need an archestra, TSFH is a good source, dont know any other composers that work with good orchestral music in modernity
There is also an idea for new movies, but those would also require a lot of passion, generally wed see a lot of amateur movies, ambitious ones and then some would come to dominate and those creators would eventually form the new hollywood elite
eventually probably working onmultiple projects with new independant dircetros etc.
id think the earliest days would be the only ones working with crowdfunding
Real question is, Jin-Roh armor or 40k armor?
jin roh
there is no question
Should I make a fully functioning suit of jin roh armor with real ballistic protection?
nothing reliable at least
it stops bullets, that's even shown with them glancing of the side of the helmet.
I mean by its apparent design
it's too bulky to go prone in and it is mostly leather with some ballistic plates stuck on
a man should not be able to withstand fire in it
then we improve it without sacrificing the full body protection
modern plate carriers really are the best you can do with existing tech
if you want to tank thru fire standing or kneeling you would need more and heavier armor which would require a powered exoskeleton of some kind
and then you just get AT missiled
looks good
but if those armor pieces were made of ballistic ceramic they would weigh over 100 pounds
looks fully flexible to me
ceramic is shit
?
steel is where its at
I've got tier 3 steel plates
RHO was made obsolete decades ago
Ceramic breaks upon impact though, a few shots and your armor is gone
how heavy is tier 3 steel chest plate
