And when I say "public forum," I mean you should be able to discuss anything as long as you are not advocating for violence or anything that would take away infringe on person's rights

2018-06-09 15:25:36 UTC

I'd refrain from the second half of that

2018-06-09 15:25:56 UTC

Because they can advocate for it, which is where you counter it.

2018-06-09 15:26:01 UTC

Why not? Corporate censorship is a huge problem

2018-06-09 15:26:02 UTC

Oh

2018-06-09 15:26:04 UTC

Not the violence part.

2018-06-09 15:26:17 UTC

You sound like a minarchist still

2018-06-09 15:26:42 UTC

The violence can get fucked.
If anybody calls for violence, they can fuck off.

But to advocate for something that restricts rights is perfectly alright, as long as you counter their arguments with your own.

2018-06-09 15:26:46 UTC

@Josh42A But wouldn't a minarchist believe in the free market? I would enforce such policies through the government

2018-06-09 15:27:06 UTC

A minarchist could never support environmental regulations.

2018-06-09 15:27:07 UTC

Minarchism to a degree.

2018-06-09 15:27:24 UTC

@εïз irma εïз And I strongly support environmental regulations.

2018-06-09 15:27:29 UTC

Same

2018-06-09 15:27:43 UTC

This is why the minarchist server I moderate hates me

2018-06-09 15:27:48 UTC

Nature is a part of national history and culture, and therefore, it needs to be protected

2018-06-09 15:27:53 UTC

^

2018-06-09 15:27:58 UTC

Minarchism is pretty specific, unlike libertarianism. Minarchists specifically want as little government as possible.

2018-06-09 15:28:07 UTC

Even if that comes at the cost of economic benefit

2018-06-09 15:28:16 UTC

As little as possible.
Which to each person is a differing degree.

2018-06-09 15:28:55 UTC

That and animals affect environmental factors we don't know what kinds of negotitive effects eliminating certain species would have

2018-06-09 15:29:14 UTC

Yellowstone and wolves for example.

2018-06-09 15:29:16 UTC

For me it's mostly the cultural aspect of it, though that matters, too

2018-06-09 15:29:19 UTC

Yep

2018-06-09 15:29:25 UTC

Eliminated the wolves, deer fucked places up.

2018-06-09 15:29:33 UTC

This sounds like we all watch too much Joe Rogan

2018-06-09 15:31:21 UTC

I don't watch him all that much.

2018-06-09 15:31:37 UTC

Another reason why I don't agree with minarchism, is because *I do* support market regulation, but I'm not sure how much. Having too little would result in rampant consumerism where businesses have too much control, and too much would not only stifle innovation while moving business overseas, but it would also make your citizens too "soft."

2018-06-09 15:31:45 UTC

He uses the yellow Stone wolves almost every other podcast

2018-06-09 15:32:06 UTC

I agree

2018-06-09 15:33:02 UTC

Still, it's a good example.

2018-06-09 15:33:33 UTC

Remove one species and watch the rest fall down.

UK has a similar problem with deer, no natural predators.

2018-06-09 15:34:07 UTC

They're fucking destroying other habitats and people are going "but we can't hunt them!!!! But we have to save the other animals!!!!"

2018-06-09 15:34:36 UTC

I just want tasty tasty venison and wildlife

2018-06-09 15:34:45 UTC

Meanwhile one of my friends is accidentally breeding African land snails in Illinois

2018-06-09 15:37:27 UTC

That'll work out well.

2018-06-09 15:37:35 UTC

America welcomes its new snail overlords.

2018-06-09 15:52:49 UTC

I support any ideology that promises to make anime real or illegal. No half measures.

2018-06-09 15:55:17 UTC

Let's not I really don't want 1500 year old 12 year olds

2018-06-09 15:55:47 UTC

Lolis are sin

2018-06-09 15:58:50 UTC

Nothing's a sin when you're atheist

2018-06-09 16:04:20 UTC

Illegal it is!
