I've been there for less than 10 hours but so far it looks good to me

2018-09-02 10:30:06 UTC

What do y'all think women's role should be in society? What should a general woman do with her life?

Stay at home

@Deleted User its sn inside joke kind of thing, my nane was pizza face and i changed it to mr.p, and then i added "that fascist"

Just posted a comment outlining the arguments against abortion on r/askwomen (on a question specifically asking for women against abortion), currently watching the clock to see how long it takes me to get banned. I'm not even against abortion in all cases, but especially with the birth control available today, I find it extremely hard to justify, and I don't see how people can deny that it's fundamentally murder

2018-09-02 11:06:23 UTC

@O. paxarbolis keep me updated

2018-09-02 11:10:59 UTC

a women’s role should be whatever they want it to be

2018-09-02 11:12:37 UTC

I already got banned from mgtow, probably for a comment suggesting that the sub was sexist (which isn't even necessarily a bad thing, in my view). I know the sub isn't fundamentally sexist, but the content that gets upvoted supports a sexist narrative. Again, I'm super fucking sexist myself oftentimes, but those guys are in denial. They just need to embrace it.

2018-09-02 11:13:22 UTC

Or maybe it's because they figured out I'm a gril and don't want those in their little safe space, which I can understand

2018-09-02 11:13:54 UTC

Sexism is a good thing, the be honest.

2018-09-02 11:14:21 UTC

how so

2018-09-02 11:16:31 UTC

It's realistic

2018-09-02 11:16:38 UTC

And practical

2018-09-02 11:16:50 UTC

When implemented right

2018-09-02 11:17:10 UTC

It's just human nature, there is a fundemental differance between man and woman. This differance manifests itself in the roles of men and women.

2018-09-02 11:18:04 UTC

Sexism is basically acknowledging those differences and acting accordingly

2018-09-02 11:18:27 UTC

Like only letting men in the military

2018-09-02 11:18:57 UTC

Preferring women as early childhood educators

2018-09-02 11:19:33 UTC

i mean if someone is able to do something and wants to do it then why shouldn’t they be allowed to

2018-09-02 11:20:01 UTC

I still like to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes and acknowledge individual differences within the sexes, but most often it turns out my instincts were right

2018-09-02 11:20:57 UTC

Sexism is, in the end, first and foremost derived from values. If you value equality then it would be a bad thing, however, if your values are derived from God and tradition, you see no problem in it.

2018-09-02 11:21:13 UTC

I value truth

2018-09-02 11:22:34 UTC

Values do not come from logic, and what is logical depends on our values.

2018-09-02 11:24:43 UTC

So, how do you find out what your values are if not from observation and evidence?

2018-09-02 11:26:57 UTC

If you think of MGTOW as a boycott until things improve, it's smart. If you think it's a permanent thing then you're delusional.

2018-09-02 11:27:04 UTC

You can still argue for your own values, after all, most people don't realize values are not derived from logic. Values really come from your family, your culture and, hopefully, God.

2018-09-02 11:28:14 UTC

my values aren't really from any of those that i can think of personally

2018-09-02 11:29:19 UTC

If you value equality, you will see the differances of man and woman as a bad thing. If you value inequality, you will see it as a good thing. Both of these perspectives are equally logical, they both recognize the truth of the differance. However, they view it in different ways.

2018-09-02 11:29:56 UTC

@ham addition Ideaologies can also have a value system.

2018-09-02 11:30:15 UTC

that's true

2018-09-02 11:30:34 UTC

i take my personal values more from my ideology than family, culture, or religion

2018-09-02 11:33:31 UTC

but honestly it's mostly bc i don't believe my culture has any values in particular tied to it and i'm not religious

2018-09-02 11:33:50 UTC

I derive my values from tradition. Why? Because I want to. You can list a bunch of things that you think are good with doing that, but, in the end, what you think is good is based on your values.

2018-09-02 11:34:11 UTC

yeah

2018-09-02 11:34:38 UTC

anyway about the original question

2018-09-02 11:34:46 UTC

what would you mean by sexism

2018-09-02 11:36:19 UTC

Well, I have reappropriated the word "sexism".

2018-09-02 11:36:49 UTC

I don't mean that I hate women by it, but most of the things that are now seen as sexist, I see as good.

2018-09-02 11:37:17 UTC

what sort of things would you mean by that
