Well, either that or your farmers quit.
I would rather some quit
All of them might though.
the chances of that are incredibly slim
Well if the farmers are losing money
And can no longer stay in business...
Then what is keeping them there?
the us has some of the best farming land in the world, we are some of the biggest producers, our produce is superior in quality too
I wouldn't say that
It's certainly larger in many cases, but the flavour I find to be off in many things.
Like the tomatoes.
The tomatoes have a weirdly... Grainy texture.
And they're hard to break down.
Thank you Kanye, very cool!
I was cooking with some California tomatoes and they were strange, parts were so tough that after 2 hours of cooking they were still hard.
✊
then you are getting the garbage tomatoes
The quantity and consistency of the produce is to be praised, I guess.
Well, I got them in season, and they were from California...
I get amazing produce here in california
best produce in the world
They certainly looked nice.
way better than anywhere else I
*i've been
That's debatable
I think a farm that breeds for flavour would be much better.
Those are rare though.
ok, not the literal best. just in general
Well that's just due to the climate.
The growing zone.
The produce doesn't need to be bred to be hardy
Strange how the breeding process often has such an effect on the flavour.
that's what I'm saying. America has great zones for farming
To bad you squander it with poisons.
I believe subsidies encourage bad distribution of resources though
Also lack of crop rotation.
too much corn
too much soy
Sometimes that's all that will grow
government guarantees them money no matter if they over produce
