when your monky
im monky
am monky
also
how are people not alarmed at the fact a gorilla can communicate using sign language?
Why is that alarming?
presents a moral question, at least to me at least
if something can communicate with humans, that clearly shows that it thinks and has an inner monologue
if so, why doesn't it have the same rights humans do?
someone could kill that gorilla with little repercussion
Because we don't know if it does have an inner monologue
How can you know for sure that the gorilla is saying anything at all?
Let alone thinking
cause it speaks using sign language
and can also make omelettes
I know
It is highly possible that it is just making funny shapes with it's hands for a reward
scary right
You talking about koko?
The issue really boils down to whether or not the gorilla really understands what it is doing
Is this really a self aware gorilla?
Or is it no different than a well trained dog?
there is a possibility it does though
yes
if so, should it have human rights?
It's not a human though
but it thinks on the same level as a human
If gorillas begin to become self aware we have a lot more issues to talk about
they may be self aware etc. but thye exist as a seperate species from us. They would treat us very differently and do treat us very differently and as an invasive species. Gorillas can kill a human rip them to shreds with absolutely no repercussion and no remorse
much like the rest of nature which is to some degree even self aware etc.
they can all think but the way and plane of thinking is so different and it has absolutely no room for us
Who would win a silverback gorilla or a brown bear? Serious question
Ah fuck
In most cases the bear would
depends on the environment
whilst both of them can climb, in most situations the silverback could probably climb and make the bear come to it
bruh a fucking monkey
then knock it down
