This is something i've never heard before
The triune God has an indivisbile essence but is tri-personal
All i've heard is God is 3 in one. The 3 beings, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are no seperate conscious entities, they are 1 person in 3.
each are divine but are capable of self-consciousness
Wouldn't that make it a polytheism
no
the essence is not divisible
this is where orthodox also shits the bed
they believe in distinction between God's energy and essence
this becomes polytheism
God controls the other 2 though, he is all powerful he knows their consciousness then, and can control them?
fuck i got a lot to learn
the divine persons communicate with the other two
the Father is the sole ontological principal
So God cant control the Son and Spirit?
God is the trinity
use the term Father to avoid confusion
So its 3 beings representing one?
it's three divine persons with an indivisible essence
This dosent even seem like Christianity from my pov
Because my current belief is that God is whole. He isnt a nuclear of energy, he is one. The son and holy spirit *are* God and God *is* the holy spirit and the son. God is a being, not a representation.
the father, son and holy spirit are God
and yes
church history and verses coming up
or rather verses im too lazy to supply so much dogma
As im not catholic, ill take the church dogma with a grain of salt
we'll use Isaiah 43:10 and 1 Corinthians 8:4 as a clear exemplar of one God, there is no contention here by anyone
we'll use John 6:27, Romans 1:7, and 1 Peter 1:2 as divinity of the father
John 1:1-3, Hebrews 1:2, Titus 2:13, and Colossians 1:16-17 as divinity of the son
and finally Acts 5:3-4, 1 Corinthians 3:16 as divinity of the spirit
there are always more examples but these are good exemplars
I found this: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD” Deuteronomy 6:4
yeah
the Shema does not imply that the trinity is not real
it is saying that YHVH is God
Lol why the fuck cant they just say he shape shifts lmao
Hebrews 1:2 seems to imply that the Son is not eternal, he was created by God.
Shape shifting merchant on a stick
he has spoken to us __by his Son__, whom he appointed __heir of all things__, and through __whom also he made the universe.__
Pebble, 1 Corinthians 3:16 and Hebrews 1:2 both seem to imply that the Holy Spirit and the Son are *owned* by God and that they were created by God.
They do not imply that
John 10:30 and John 17:21-22 are also good
John 10:30 implys that, yes, they are one.
