what I've read so far was that waiting periods actually work to reduce suicide rates since most of the time are impulsive attempts,but I think that if you just ban all guns (which is not gonna work,either) they're just gonna find another way to kill themselves

plus one source I read mentioned asia as "an example of how well restricting the means of suicide works to stop suicide" and I shut it down immidiately
