@Deleted User Westerners disagree with the theory as well. There’s debate around the word “invasion.” Aryans from the Middle East “migrated” into India
It’s called a theory for a reason
I mean theory in scientific terms actually means it's well substanciated, and a relaible account of what happened rather than what most people use the word theory for
The migration is well substantiated, especially with more archaeological evidence. The concept of it being an intrusion/invasion is not well substantiated however. It’s more likely the nomads adopted a sedentary culture after choosing to settle where they did in India and came in small heaps at a time
Possibly, not something I've looked into myself, though I'd imagine it would be difficult for there to be a large amount of integration with such differing cultures
Genetic data backs up that there was heavy assimilation. Indian genetic composition - both ASI and ANI elements are profound even in the lightest or darkest skinned south Asian.
Some might argue that happened later, but heavy endogamy, caste distinction, only became prevalent much later on. Not only after Vedic, but also after vedantic period in Gupta era.
@Priyanka yeah but the point that they disagree with is whether to call it an invasion or migration
not whether these new groups of people came into the land at all
