Firstly, you speak of Germanic genes, which you know, I agree that Meds are slightly different; they're still our European allies. But how can Scotland be considered Germanic? Sure, you have some Germanic genes within the Lowland Scots, but overall, not even on a cultural basis can Scotland have a claim to be Germanic? England were formed by Angles, Jutes, and Saxons, but the Scots were Gaelic Celts, with the Picts as well (I believe the Picts were likely Gaelic too, though general historical opinion is that they were more closely related to the Welsh Brittonics.) So this confused me. Also, conservative? Depends. Are you actually intent on 'conserving' anything, as conservatism the political ideology is dead in the water and always was and always will be. As for monarchism, well...not sure how that fits in with your industrialism so much. Even so, again, what do people mean by monarchism? Absolutism perhaps? For Scotland maybe, that would be awesome. I want Scotland to secede from the British Union. In general though I'm not too fond of the word 'monarch' not unless the original English understanding of kingship was restored. I don't believe in divine right. And as for industrialism, this is certainly something I must reject. Industrial Revolution was abhorrent. We need a rural revolution if anything, that would increase birthrates, and bring power back to the land, giving people something tangible, not fantastical sentimental rights which don't exist. The farmer is superior to the worker. Restore the true meaning of wealth.
