IF I see a black man, I am automatically biased for seeing him as black?
not in the biological sense only in a sociological sense
Sociological.
are all people affected by confirmation bias?
that is a meme
This is what the imgur link went to.
are all people affected by confirmation bias?
i assume that they do, right?
Yes but this means we could arbuitary pick any K numbers for how we seperate the human 'clines' and say those are racial groups. **If all the answers for how many races there are are true then it doesn't give any useful information other than confirming our own ideas about the world.**
if that's the case, then that means you're clearly wrong as you see it with a confirmation bias, as you see what you want to see from data that doesn't point in any objective direction
which means anyone who argues it does is working from confirmation bias
It would be like someone saying
BLUE is objective a colour
well **what about light blue is it a different colour some people think so and there's nothing to say they're wrong**
so essentially no one is right then
since we all see it with a confirmation bias
well there is one answer, we're all the same genus and divisions below the taxnomy group of genus are abruitary
or just denial of facts 🤔
"oh it's just confirmation bias race doesn't exist"
but it seems to me you'd prefer to just ignore fact altogether
Aye but people with black skin have different characteristics than white people.
im not ignoring facts
and hundreds of sources i've given
how many of them are epigentic studies
take a look for yourself
how many are medical studies
if you looked through all those studies
then you would know lol
if race isn't real then mixing races shouldn't affect anything
just because race isn't biological real doesn't mean it has no affect i.e sociology studies the effect that races has had on people and racism is an environmental factor to consider.
your conclusion is still centred on 'confirmation bias' that it must be **biological race** the factor then you use that to justify biological race which is circular reasoning.
if you look through the lens of the brown man
you will see the brown man's plight
and not his evils
