Some, but not much.
@McSchlick because I've said it before and I repeat myself too much
Lmao
@Bill Nye the Russian Spy Then there you go
Calling someone unintelligent just because they disagree with you is some galaxy brain shit
Also just because you ask for something doesnt mean I'm obligated to get the evidence
True
lol
But they won't be convinced to change their point of view
@McSchlick How is it not unintelligent?
The reason you dont agree with me is simply because you're not smart enough.
Because there are plenty of intelligent people who have differing views
You can recognize their intelligence without agreeing with their views
Some people are retarded, some people are malicious
And there are even more unintelligent people with differing views
And?
Well your arguments have proved your intelligence
Rare pic
The literal point of a debate is to change somone's mind
And it wasnt a debate
as I clearly stated.
And some people, like Karde, require facts
@McSchlick and that never happens let's be honest
No
@McSchlick No he doesnt
he's a communist
No matter how much proof you provide one doesn't change
debates are supposed to change the audience's mind
It's futile
because all of those no us totally changed my mind
I only take the skeptical position that gay therapy literally doesn't work because the evidence is either that they are psychologically damaging or that they're ineffective. So I wanted evidence that it does work or it comes off as plain pseudoscience without it.
in fact it's so dumb the american psychiatric association wrote this statement
```The validity, efficacy and ethics of clinical attempts to
change an individual's sexual orientation have been
challenged (3,4,5,6). To date, there are no scientifically
rigorous outcome studies to determine either the actual
efficacy or harm of "reparative" treatments. There is
sparse scientific data about selection criteria, risks versus
benefits of the treatment, and long-term outcomes of
"reparative" therapies. The literature consists of anecdotal
reports of individuals who have claimed to change, people
who claim that attempts to change were harmful to them,
and others who claimed to have changed and then later
recanted those claims (7,8,9).
Even though there are little data about patients, it is still
possible to evaluate the theories which rationalize the
conduct of "reparative" and conversion therapies. Firstly,
they are at odds with the scientific position of the American
Psychiatric Association which has maintained, since 1973,
that homosexuality per se, is not a mental disorder. The
theories of "reparative" therapists define homosexuality as
either a developmental arrest, a severe form of psychopathology,
or some combination of both (10-15). In recent
years, noted practitioners of "reparative" therapy have
openly integrated older psychoanalytic theories that pathologize
homosexuality with traditional religious beliefs
condemning homosexuality (16,17,18). ```
Not actual debat
@Deleted User like now lol
I'm gonna trust the American Psychiatric Association on this one.
Now it's your move E
