Robots could **theoretically** take some lower jobs, but you still need the people that make the robots and code the robots, and make the machines the robots use, and etc.

But either way not all people are qualified to make the robots so it'd hurt the economy

You make a robot, you tell it what to do, and it can't deviate from it

You make AI and it learns and decides whether it wants to follow your instructions or not
