Parkland's hurt them slightly, not to mention the enthusiasm gap problem we still have. All things considered though, I believe he has a good chance.
so you think Parkland worsened Scott's chances a bit?
the thing is, the anti-gun control thing is helping the GOP, but Scott signed that one gun control bill
Yes, that's the thing, he has no gun rights leverage while he still will get attacked by anti-gun control activists.
Never capitulate.
This
He took a knee jerk reaction to parkland and capitulated to the left
Left leaning Floridians aren’t going to be like “oh well Scott signed some gun control so I guess I’ll vote for him”
And people on the right were pissed cuz it looked like a blatant attempt at preserving his future career

lol
vote to have faggots like you work in uranium mines
@Deleted User I turn 18 like 20-ish days after the 2020 elections 😦
@Marini there may be special elections in 2021 for you to vote in
and of course, the 2022 midterms

Rubio up for re-election, if he wants
I'll sure as heck be voting then
2022 scares me.
It's like how the current senate map is so Republican.
That one favors Democrats by a lot, especially if le-blue wave repeats itself.
@Pielover19 nah I wouldn't be worried
Red Storm will be far more sophisticated by then
assuming that's two years after Trump wins a 2nd term, he'll have passed more MAGA legislation to increase GOP turnout
the left continues to be awful, so the Trump coalition is going up
whereas in 2014, the Obama coalition dwindled from 2008
keep in mind that 2008 and 2014 have the same senate map, in the same way that 2016 and 2022 have the same senate map
I actually anticipate that more MAGA legislation--particularly on abortion--will actually decrease turnout tbh.
especially due to "consistent life ethic" people and the fact that the pro-life movement was originally a Democrat machine until the Democrats backed Roe v. Wade out of sheer retardation
Why exactly? You think it'll make people more complacent?
That's the largest factor, but it also mobilizes those who are opposed to both abortion and the death penalty against Republicans even moreso than they already are.
No one will be concerned about abortion if we outright ban it unless we start taking down contraception--and due to the protracted cultural and political war over abortion, contraception has become relatively acceptable.
Still ultra triggered over new age limit
21 to buy a rifle
Few pro-life/anti-abortion groups actually oppose contraceptive legality.
also yeah
Nigga wut
I don't mind but
It's retarded.
