anyway @k_ the intersection of a cylinder and a plane is a circle
so it's basically a circle with a radius of 25, located in the z=-1 plane
x^2 + y^2 = 25^2
x = 25cos(t)
y = 25sin(t)
z=-1
try giving that as your answer
Yeah calc 3. Thanks, I had x(t) and y(t) but i kept thinking that i would get a non consant z(t)
Is this college maths?
alright, now we know for sure that RS is from asia
Is this a prereq or a general class?
It's just required for anybody in the college of engineering . I dont think it's a prereq for any classes i will be taking.
I see.
Is calculus used in engineering?
For anything that needs physics based calculations, yeah
I'd imagine that's often.
@k_ did it get marked correctly
it's been years since Calculus III for me
@Ghawk I thought you'd chime in with an asian joke
@Julien Blanc yeah it was correct
thank you
Smart RS
@Julien Blanc I was afk.
@Julien Blanc Are you good at biology?
I would be if I studied it
like pretty much any other subject
But you are Asian, isn't this built into you?
Turks are still retarded, but they improved their reputation a little with this
I'm very tempted to buy this for my dogs.
@eagle eye : speaking of Orban, I met this hipsterish white girl recently, who was raised in North Carolina but resents the "hick town" she grew up in. She recently came back from Hungary, and I could tell that she was the socialistic SJW type because she dropped a comment about the "political situation" being "awful" there. Also said that it "sucked" that Cuomo won.
I had the urge to fuck with her based on politics, but refrained
wha?
I hate the hick town i grew up in too it just made me appreciate the capitalist paradise of big American cities more
Idk how you go socialist if you come from a place with no money lmao
@[Lex] Eagle Eye mentioned Orban, so I shared an anecdote from my life that somewhat involved him
People need to keep in mind--especially when November rolls around--that we are in a uniquely chaotic crisis period. There is, simultaneously, a large political realignment along globalist and populist lines (which is actually international), a crisis of technology-produced centralization of power and destruction of culture, demographic instability, a constitutional crisis created by a thoroughly corrupt political and media establishment, and a radical generational break in social and moral values. Along with that there is a crisis of urbanization, an alarming neoteny which is exacerbating an overall collapse of cultural integrity, and a disturbing increase in consumerist escapism. This may be, due to the nature of our technologically accelerated and highly scaled society, the most unstable period in Western culture, notwithstanding the paroxysms of World War I and the ensuing cultural insanity.
What these cumulative destabilizing conditions mean, in near term politics, is that things are likely to vacillate wildly. We are not in for a painless resolution of conflicts followed by twenty years of placid development. People who still do not understand this think Trump is the beginning of the restoration of something. No, he isn't.
