That could be a good or bad thing depending on how well those candidates keep their promises
Here's the thing @FLanon
Saccone was basically the generic GOP candidate
@R E P T I L E I wouldn't escape. Not outside the US anyways, I'd live in isolation.
If they do, than we basically have more Republicans
Not complete isolation, but you know, amish
@GermanEastAfrica no no no
They most likely will vote party line
Yeah youâre right, theyâll probably all turn around at once at completely betray their election promises
Never count on these people, if Conor Lamb really was going against Pelosi, he'd switch parties the day he was sworn in.
They hold the reins tight on DNC funds.
Honestly can Pelosi just get out already
Schumer is more my concern
If we had someone there on the dem's side who was more prone to compromise and making deals with Trump, we might just have a wall.
But the Dems care more about the immigrants than compromise.
I also love when they pull the quote on the Statue of Liberty as some sort of proof of their cause
Yeah, under current leadership and, the way things are going, future leadership because of the extreme leftward shift.
Lamb will probably just end up being another Manchin, I bet.
Canât wait until 2020 when the next great meme war starts. This time the left wonât make the same mistakes though. Iâm going to be a bit blackpill and say I donât see the chances for a 2020 Trump presidency as very high.
Although it would be hilarious to see the pure unadulterated rage if he does win
If it's another 2002.
I'm holding out for a miracle at this point, but I am just running on empty.
I feel you. I know not to lose hope, but it can be hard not to at times. Sometimes I get weirdly sad whenever an old show from the 80âs comes on or when I view photos of Chicago from the 20âs on threads. I just think âhow did it come to thisâ?
Yeah. It feels like I'm going mad, sanity is just falling further and further.
The world is just a husk, really. Culturally, socially, it all just seems fucked.
But things like this discord and Gab make things feel a little bit better. Like Iâm not alone in my thoughts. No matter how much the social media giants try
The only thing I can think of that I think can maybe make things right is the law of nature: "each action has an equal and opposite reaction".
Something's gotta give.
And when it does, all hell is going to break loose. I used to think the whole civil war thing was a meme but Iâm getting more and more certain itâs happening by the day
I think we may have some caesearian candidate that will light the flame at some point, someone real awe inspiring. Maybe it's what we have in office now, maybe it's someone in a couple decades, but there will be someone that'll provide a catalyst.
Maybe it will be heavy reform, maybe it'll be an armed revolution, but things cannot stay the same.
Whenever I see Pictures of Cities back in the old days, especially Rhodesia, I get really sad.
old detroit, old harlem
Old Chicago, Old New York
Times square in 1945
Old Philadelphia
The architecture, there was a soul.
Man London was crazy back then
Thatâs when you could tell it belonged to England
I don't know what keeps me grounded, really.
