#1 and #3 are the same, but there's a difference between stripping SCOTUS of the power to legalize abortion and stripping SCOTUS of all abortion-related powers, for instance.

A fourth option to control the courts-gone-wild BS is to actually create a special court tasked with controlling the judiciary.
It would likely be unconstitutional to use said court against the Supreme Court but it could work against any and all inferior courts.
